New Natural Mask

by - January 07, 2018

Happy Sunday Guys!
I'm in an unusually good mood today and just be warned, I might be a little annoying haha!

I know a lot of people aren't that into New Years resolutions this year, and honestly I'm not real huge into them either but I will say that since we've begun a new year, I've been so determined to get my butt back into exercising and eating healthy again and great news.......I BEEN KILLING IT!!! Haha, I know it's only the first week of the new year but around this time last year I wouldn't have even gotten this far, so for me, this is a HUGE win!!

On a blog related note, as promised, I'm going to try posting more this year and this is me following through on that promise. Also, since I'm on such a new "healthy" kick, I've tried to incorporate more natural products into my beauty regime. I haven't fully committed to that natural life yet, but there have been a few products that have won me over, and one of them is in this post. I'm talking all natural mask goodness y'all!

I got this Herbivore pink clay mask as a Christmas present from my dad and it was just what I needed. In 2018, I'm all about self-care and carving out some me time, so this fits perfectly with that.

First off, this mask is all natural which is perfect for anybody with skin allergies or just if you have sensitive skin. Literally the only ingredients in this are French pink clay (the first ingredient), white kaolin clay, organic rosehip powder, organic rose powder, and organic chamomile powder and that's it!!

This is an exfoliating mask so it's great for cleaning out all the gunk in your pores. It also has a fresh, floral scent.

As you can probably tell by the picture, this product comes in powder form, so in order to use it, you take a small amount and mix it with water until it forms a paste. A little bit goes a long way so no need to use a lot of it.

It goes onto the skin kind of gritty, but dries very smooth and tight. Actually, as it dries, you can feel it tightening on your skin, so you know that its working. I left it on for about 30 mins and then washed it off.

So how did it fair?

I noticed that my skin was slightly red after I washed it off, but I think that's pretty normal for exfoliating masks. Hours later after the little bit of redness subsided, my skin looked and felt rejuvenated and more glowy. I definitely felt my skin was more smooth.

Is it for me?

This mask is definitely for you if you like natural products, exfoliating masks and don't mind the extra work of mixing the powder with water. It's an indulgent product, so you'll definitely feel like you've left a spa afterward. Here is where can you purchase it.

I would love to know what natural skincare products you use and like! Tell me in the comments below!
